Jackson Lee

Jackson was most recently a prize winner at 2014 National Chinese Music Competition, Dizi Open Category. In 2010, he was awarded distinction for Diploma in Chinese Instrumental Examination conducted by the National University of Singapore, which followed after he received a distinction in Grade 8 Chinese Instruments Graded Examinations conducted by the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2008. He was posted to the Singapore Armed Forces Music and Drama Company during his National Service. He was resident Dizi player in the Modern Chinese Instrumental Ensemble. In 2011, he was appointed the Overall-In-Charge for Music department. Jackson is currently learning Dizi under tutelage of Professor Zhan Yong Ming, masters’ tutor and department director at Shanghai Conservatory of Music, as well as part-time lecturer at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Jackson was also under tutelage of Mr Tony Ang Ting Leong and Mr Lim Eng Sia. Jackson is an Engineer at local firm and still continues to pursue his passion for music as a freelance Musician during his free time.
